London sewing courses
Website development for a sewing initiative in London.
We created the website for London Sewing Courses with a clear purpose: to reach parents, teens, and adults in local communities. Here, sewing offers an alternative to crime and disengagement. Since one in ten children in the area is neglected, the project had to feel approachable, purposeful, and solution-driven. The sitemap was designed to highlight what mattered most, including a welcoming homepage, a “Meet Grace” page to share her mission, and a dedicated courses section. We outlined four programs: two for adults and two for children, which included advanced and free options. To maximise engagement, we designed the user experience with strong calls-to-action, highlighted course introductions, and wove powerful messages throughout the site.
Visually, we used a clean, clear layout. We chose the Lato typeface for its simplicity and readability, pairing it with the brand’s core colours to guide attention. As a charity project, the design avoided heavy embellishments while still ensuring clarity and accessibility. Key features include an integrated booking system with a calendar for easy registration, making the user journey smooth and practical. Arijanna led the logo and identity design, while Karim from Pomegranate Marketing optimised the site for SEO. Ultimately, the platform now raises the visibility of London Sewing Courses and provides a stronger digital foundation to attract new learners and build safer, more connected communities.

remember forgotten skills
The true heart of this project was to bring something fresh, bright, and joyful to the community. We discovered how deeply adults and children cherish moments spent together, creating with their own hands. “It’s in those simple acts of making that joy, laughter, and lasting memories come alive”, says Grace, founder of London Sewing Courses.
